In recognition of National Volunteer Week, Henrico is hosting three community cleanup events at historically Black cemeteries: Woodland Cemetery on April 21, St. James Cemetery on April 22 and Sons & Daughters of Ham Cemetery on April 23. Each event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. Please confirm your volunteer time with your supervisor prior to registering for the events on Thursday or Friday. If you are volunteering for the Saturday event, you will not be compensated for your volunteer time. Families are welcome to participate in all three events.
