2023 Health Care through ViaBenefits (formerly OneExchange) for 65+ Retirees

The Medicare Open Enrollment period is from October 15 through December 7, 2022 for coverage effective January 1, 2023.

By October, you should have received the Fall Newsletter from ViaBenefits with information about Medicare’s Open Enrollment. ViaBenefits sends their fall newsletter to enrolled Medicare eligible retirees by email (if you provided a valid email address and did not opt out of receiving emails) or by U.S. Mail. These newsletters are sent to enrolled retirees in late August.

We want to remind you that to re-evaluate or change your plan choices, you must contact ViaBenefits during the Medicare Open Enrollment period. The ViaBenefits number is 1+844-256-0914.

You may want to review your plans if:

  • Your prescriptions have changed during this year and you want to see if there is a Part D Prescription Drug Plan available in 2023 that better meets your needs.
  • You have moved during the year to a new ZIP code.
  • You want to compare 2023 premiums of comparable plans.

Retirees must continue their own coverage through the County sponsored vendor (ViaBenefits) for their pre-65 dependents to be eligible for coverage on Henrico County’s Anthem plan.
