Holiday Observance [Offices Closed]
Henrico County General Government offices and Courts are closed for the holiday!
Annual Tree Lighting
The Center’s Tree Lighting program will begin at 4:30 pm outdoors.
The Center’s Illumination Festival will run from 5-7 pm.
Celebrate the holidays with us at our Annual Tree Lighting and Illumination Event on December 4th from 4:30-7pm at The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen!
Enjoy live music and a stroll through The Center to marvel at our artisan tree and wreath exhibit. Live music will include performances by Offering, The Midnight Ukulele Society, and more! Plus, bring the kids to enjoy a special visit from Santa! The local artist elves have also been very busy in our gift shop full of unique, handcrafted gift items – perfect for knocking out your holiday shopping early!

World Mental Health Day
World Mental Health Day. First celebrated in 1993, this day is meant to increase public awareness about the importance of mental health, mental health services, and mental health workers worldwide.
Hispanic Heritage Month
Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 is National Hispanic Heritage Month — a time for recognizing the histories, cultures and contributions of both Hispanic and Latino/a Americans with ancestors from Mexico, Spain, Central and South America, and the Caribbean Islands. Explore more of the rich culture and contributions of Hispanic/Latino/a communities.

Labor Day [Closed]
County Offices will be closed on September 6 in observance of Labor Day.
National Disability Independence Day
On July 26th, 1990, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was signed into law by President George H. W. Bush. National Disability Independence Day commemorates the signing of the act, which prohibits discrimination against persons with disabilities in all public and private spaces.
