November 13-19 is International Fraud Awareness Week. Internal Audit is joining the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners in the global effort to minimize the impact of fraud by promoting anti-fraud awareness and education. Take a moment to learn how to be a fraud fighter. While Internal Audit performs routine audits which are not focused on fraud, they also maintain the County’s mechanisms for reporting concerns of potential government fraud, waste, or abuse and follow up as deemed appropriate.
